In these last years my role of Italian Wedding Planner has changed; I have realized that I'm not longer just a wedding planner... I also become a wedding designer, following and creating personally the arrangements for the marriage and the reception, especially if they are shabby or country or vintage! I love go to the "brocant" or "flea markets" and buy items that give a special touch to "my wedding" ... Trunks, old suitcases, vintage armchairs and sofas... and small cages, frames, ancient keys and books of the last century. Cotton, linen and lace... decapè tables, white chairs, plaid and lanterns!
The teacups, or pale pink pearls and then the photoboot: one of the funniest parts of reception! Fake noses, moustaches, wigs, hats and a vintage Polaroid (really new Fujifilm instax) to capture any moments and then pin on the cork board!
A perfect wedding location for this type of wedding could be the Abbey of Sant'Andrea in Flumine, at only 30 minutes from Rome, in the amazing Valle del Tevere. In this venue we can celebrate a legal ceremony and legal religious ceremony! Write me soon to firstname.lastname@example.org to know all "step by step" for the paperwork.
Set up ceremony and reception in the same venue is priceless but in Italy it's not obviously! Perfect for the intimate marriage but not only... we can use a part of garden for the welcome cocktail and appetizer with a show food and the rest for the lunch or dinner! Great alternative could be the Abbey of San Faustino or better Villa Benveduti in Gubbio... the importance is to have a garden where set up all great details that make your wedding unique... and shabby, sure!
Bottle and jars, old sheet music and customized stationary... little bottle of oil or limoncello with your label, like a favour with your guests: a little Italian memory!
The funny and vintage suitcase for the kids, to fill with paper, colored crayons, little toys and a camera, in this way we can have also their POV pics! Guys, the ideas and possibilities are infinite... tell me your budget and let's go have some fun together!
