I'm getting married with Google! In Italy… a wedding 2.0 ;)

Simplify your wedding in Italy

Mothers and wedding planners are outdated ... Google can be an excellent substitute ;) For every kind of marriages, there's Google for Wedding: the famous search engine places at disposition of every bride applications and instruments to organize every details of wedding, without leaving anything to the case ... it's cool!

And also for me, like the Italian Wedding Planner that organize many weddings for foreigners, can be more useful.

  1. Start with Google Calendar
    Choosing first the date, or the period, of the wedding is very useful. In this way we can know save lots of time... ok this you just know... but especially we can share dates, inspections and create a “to do list”. Have the possibility to share the own work in simply way, help us especially if we are distant.




  2. Google Docs is very useful
    This application permits to draw a guest list, write down all the useful addresses , to take note of the web sites with original ideas, and to update the "to do list" to know what to do and when, and to create the event budget; without send nothing, but only sharing. The main features are: wedding planner, to do list, seating chart, guests list, address book, budget planner, and reception menu and music list.




  3. Google Maps
    The choice of the place where to get married, the best location in the city of your dreams is critical. Certainly to have a wedding planner on site to help you could be really helpful. We can share also the personalized maps where to sign the hotels, the church, the Town Hill seeing the distance from the location. Besides, with Google Search you can see every service: flowers, wedding cake, music, location, catering, transfer, accommodation, photographer and many other things and you can advice me, working together.




  4. Picasa
    Picasa is a very good system to classify and arrange hundreds and hundreds of photos of your wedding and create photo album for us, friends and relatives. But is very useful also during the organization, where the Italian Wedding Planner like me, can put the photos about all details for her future spouses.




  5. Google Site - because now doing a website for everything ;)
    It permits you to create a website dedicated to your wedding, where to indicate every relevant information and address like the ones related with the church and the location for reception, and the maps to reach them; besides the websites of gift list and honeymoon list. Hours, date… all the necessary so that everyone is informed.




  6. Exaggerate… created a blog with Blogger
    To keep you and everybody updated on the organization of your wedding, you can create a smart and funny blog, where to post photos, ideas and to ask advices and suggestions.




  7. A dedicated email with Gmail
    Open for yourself, if you haven’t already done it, an email account that allows you to keep everything under control. An address for you spouses, where anyone, from your friend to any supplier may contact you.




  8. Youtube
    Useful to feel the magic of some location and knowing that the photos sometimes cannot communicate. YouTube is the right place to publish your wedding funniest videos your, the official ones made by professional filmmaker and the unofficial ones made by relatives and friends.


Everything is free… but giving up a little’ privacy.
